About the Program
Explore your creative side with graphic arts. With graphic design, learn about topics such as design, typography, illustration, and web design. Learn skills in marketing, advertising, social media, multimedia journalism, and video production to become a crosstrained professional.
The Graphic Arts Technology program has a choice of two paths, the Graphic Design degree or the Cross Media Production degree.
- The Graphic Design path includes courses in design theory, color theory, typography, illustration, web design, and computer graphics, page layout, marketing and advertising.
- The Cross Media Production path prepares students for a variety of careers such as advertising, digital marketing, social media management, multimedia journalism, and video production. Courses of study involves not only developing graphics and publishing pieces, but also web and television design.
